@Deepak: Havent watched Chak De, heard its a real good movie. TZP & DCH I liked very much. OSO was the worst piece of SRK I ever laid eyes on although did I tell you I got spooked during the horror part

Heh, I suppose I’ve found company.. I gave up hindi movies for a while(99-08.) I could talk pages about this topic but for later..

If you are okay with watching movies with subtitles, there are a lot of quality movies of 80s and 90s in Bengali and Malayalam…(I assume you can understand bits and pieces of both languages.)

I completely empathize with you in this regard, although I can’t understand why you wouldn’t like entertainers. By that, I don’t mean stupid movies like No Entry, Welcome, OSO.
I mean real entertainers like Chakde India, Dil Chahta Hai..

Hindi seldom releases real movies. Some from my limited list of favorites in recent years – Page 3, Swades, TZP, Dil Chahta Hai
