World Champions has a nice ring to it. Inaugural world champ sounds even better. So against all odds, India wins the big one!!! So who cares if the champs had to take a back seat during the presentation ceremony in Mumbai and the front seat went to all the politicians? And the poor hockey team turns a shade pale and proceeds on a hunger strike post the reported step motherly treatment?
Although I think its downright shameful of the Modi government to remain indifferent to the Pathan brothers. What the hell! For shame.
The 20-20 world cup was a fantastic run for India. Hope the winning streak continues in spite of all the contrary comments made forth by the harbinger of doom - the one and only Mr. Navjodh Singh Sidhu.
