My friend, who’s got a good ear for music btw, always puts on some new song or the other and I’m forever telling him - I dont want to listen to newbies, I want the good old familiar songs that I can sing along with. This is when he shakes his head and gives up trying to introduce me to new stuff. Same’s the case with movies - I’d rather watch my faves than some new fangled, fantabulous hot shot movie thats wowed the world. Give me Matilda, Starsky & Hutch, Billy Madison any day.
Of course, I love the new Harry Potter movies just like the next Rowling fan…. although the same cant be said for all the new releases. Like the last time I watched the third Pirates of the Carribean movie, I was left wondering whats happening to whom and from where. My brother who was sitting next to me remarked snidely - this is what happens when you miss the ending of the first Pirate movie and dont watch the second part!
Speaking of movies, I am still yet to watch Chak De which has got pretty good reviews esp from one Chak De fan who’s going to watch the movie second time tonight

familiarity is so cushy…
but hey its not so bad trying out some new stuff… how would i have ever liked adrian if i kept going back to narayan? hehe.
i am assuming you are gonna watch my baby this weekend… grrrrrr
Oh so right. Cushy as hell!
Accha, u’re talking about the new kid Adrian gaining popularity over Narayan budho… hehehe….
Ya, planning to watch ur SRK soon. Cant wait.
creating some suspense for the readers you see!
doesnt it sound like adrain and narayan are my lovers kya! vernacular, regional advantage after all!
Hahaha… definitely the edge! Although when u did finally say, ‘doesnt it sound…’, I think the readers got wise after that
That is, persuming there are indeed real people to be reading our ramblings
