John Lennon concert

Watched parts of the John Lennon concert on tv yesterday. The bits where they showed videos of him and his tiny kid was especially touching. I especially liked listening to his ‘Stand by me’ song after a long time. However, my favourite song by John Lennon will always be this:

Nobody loves you when you’re down and out
Nobody sees you when you’re on cloud nine
Everybody’s hustlin’ for a buck and a dime
I’ll scratch your back and you scratch mine

I’ve been across to the other side
I’ve shown you everything, I got nothing to hide
And still you ask me do I love you, what it is, what it is
All I can tell you is it’s all show biz
All I can tell you is it’s all show biz

Nobody loves you when you’re down and out
Nobody knows you when you’re on cloud nine
Everybody’s hustlin’ for a buck and a dime
I’ll scratch your back and you knife mine

And so on…

  • I know… I love these lines too. :D

Hey can you believe the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of John Lenon is Harry Potter!

This happened while I was taking a friend of mine through the calendar I got from home. The same calendar featuring all the music legends. The bugger goes through all the 12 pages and then says, ‘btw what was Harry Potter doing among the music legends’.
My reaction was – ‘Aing! Where did you see Harry Potter now?’. He religiously turns the pages and shows me Lenon. :D

  • The glasses!!! I know… thats what I thought of when I saw him yesterday…

Hahaha… guess our Potter boy is more famous than oldie singers. Though JL will live on in his amazing songs.
