Hot hot hot

chickenconditioning1.jpg

It is so hot here you can fry an egg on top of my head, that is, if I am unlucky enough to be out of the air conditioning and enter the world of behavourial conditioning (which I have been doing since the last one week)

Sometime back, a friend of mine reminisced Do you remember ten years ago, we used to wear sweaters throughout the year in Gangtok? And to think right now, I am that very chicken on the right side sweating it out in this hotter-than-hell place.

This global warming is slowly smothering life away. And it will get worse if we dont Live Earth and Answer the Call. Way to go, fellow earthlings!

  • Same story here in UK. Here none of homes have fans/ACs because they have never felt the need for it till now. All they have are heaters. And their windows are specially designed in such a way that they won’t let too much of the wind in.

So when it gets really hot out here (believe me, it does – thanks to global warming) and you start to sweat, you can do nothing but wait for the season to change. Some tactful ones started selling table fans here and made a bundle too!

  • I didnt know the weather in UK was awesome. Lucky gal! I think my place here is going the Rajasthan way :( Somedays it feels as though I am standing on the middle of a desert on a really hot afternoon….

  • Hello Bishal!
I will see what I can do about it. Last time I visited Samdruptse, it was amazing being there with the wind blowing softly and I felt so much at peace just being out there. Planning to go for a long drive there sometime soon :)
    Thanks for your visit!
